Diese Papierarbeit trägt den Titel Floral. Der Begriff Flora entstammt der Pflanzenwelt innerhalb bestimmter Naturverhältnisse. Bei dieser Arbeit bezieht sich der Künstler auf die Naturverhältnisse in der Umgebung von Moritzburg. Entstanden ist diese Tuschezeichnung an einem Ort an dem schon die berühmte Künstlervereinigung Die Brücke – eine Gruppe expressionistischer Künstler Anfang des 20.Jh. gearbeitet hat und zwar im Roten Haus, einem ehemaligen Badehaus in der Nähe zu Moritzburg. Im Rahmen des diesjährigen Kunstsommers in Moritzburg hat sich die Künstlergemeinschaft Kunstspuren Radebeul, zu der auch Uwe Beyer gehört, zusammengefunden, um an diesem kulturträchtigen Ort zu arbeiten. Inspiriert von den landschaftlichen Strukturen dieser sehr malerischen Umgebung im Umfeld des Roten Hauses, schuf der Künstler eine Serie von expressiven Tuschezeichnungen als Reflexionen auf die ihm umgebende Natur.
This paper work is entitled Floral. The term flora comes from the plant world within certain natural conditions. In this work, the artist refers to the natural conditions in the surroundings of Moritzburg. This ink drawing was created in a place where the famous artists‘ association Die Brücke – a group of expressionist artists – worked at the beginning of the 20th century, namely in the Red House, a former bathhouse near Moritzburg. As part of this year’s Art Summer in Moritzburg, the artists‘ association Kunstspuren Radebeul, to which Uwe Beyer also belongs, has come together to work at this culturally significant location. Inspired by the landscape structures of this very picturesque environment surrounding the Red House, the artist created a series of expressive ink drawings as reflections on the nature surrounding him.
