Colour and form associate a landscape structure. The depiction is reminiscent of a mountain or rock or, with a little imagination, of a human torso. What can be seen appears as a detail, a fragment, expandable upwards and downwards. The background contrasts with the form. It does not appear heavy and solid like the „fragment“, but brightly transparent, almost somewhat immaterial, and thus forms the counterpart to the solid, earthbound, compact form.
The picture is painted on canvas in mixed technique with oil paint and ink.
Farbe und Form assoziieren eine landschaftliche Struktur. Die Darstellung erinnert an einen Berg oder Fels oder aber auch, mit etwas Phantasie, an einen menschlichen Torso. Was zu sehen ist erscheint als Ausschnitt, als Bruchstück, nach oben und unten erweiterbar. Der Hintergrund steht im Kontrast zur Form. Er wirkt nicht wie das „Bruchstück“ schwer, massiv, sondern hell transparent, fast etwas immateriell und bildet dadurch das Gegenstück zur festen erdgebundenen, kompakten Form.
Gemalt ist das Bild auf Leinwand in Mischtechnik mit Ölfarbe und Tusche.
