VERWUNDEN  |  WOUND  |  2012  |  canvas  | 100×80 cm  | oil, ink |

Organic forms intertwined, twisted as if by a knot.
Seemingly inseparable. Grown connections. Vertical and centre strongly emphasised. Lines entwine surfaces, merge with the ground, wind and form a mesh. This knows no boundaries, flows out of the format. There is neither a root nor a heel in the trace of the brush, which, dipped in ink, sweepingly covers the ochre-coloured ground.
